The weather has been getting warm, so we've been spending a lot of time outdoors. Of course, we go to the zoo every chance we get. Lucia asks to go to the zoo several times every day. Her words are still limited, but she has elaborate signs worked out to communicate pretty much everything. Her desire to go to the zoo is communicated by pointing to the place on her hand where she gets a stamp when we leave. She usually gives us a big smile and lifts her shoulders up to her ears when she asks, which is totally calculated to make her as cute as possible.
She also likes to help us garden and to hang out in her sandbox while mom and dad laze in the sun. (Not that we get to do that often, but lately it seems wrong not to spend some time outside doing nothing). Tomorrow we're going to SeaWorld for the first time, so hopefully we'll get some cute pictures of Lucia with marine life.
